For large catalogues

Guided selling for large catalogues

In a big store, the shopper who doesn't know exactly what they want gets lost: hundreds of products, dozens of filters, no idea where to start. Snacked puts a few questions at the door and sends each shopper to the category or collection that fits them.

Sound familiar?

Navigation and filters are built in your categories' terms. A shopper starting from a need ("a tent for two, for winter, light enough to carry") has to translate it into your filters. Guided questions do the translation and land them in the right part of the catalogue.

Ask first, then send each visitor to the right offer

A few questions sit between the click and your offer. Each visitor answers, reads a result written for where they are, and lands on the offer that fits them. For example:

The questions

  1. What are you shopping for today?
  2. Who is it for?
  3. What's your budget?

Where each visitor goes

  • Needs a specific kind of product: That category, already narrowed down
  • Looking for a gift: The gift guide for that budget
  • Wants the best value: The best sellers in that range

A made-up example. Snacked writes the questions and results from your own pages.

How it works

  1. Paste your URL. Snacked reads your pages: what you sell, the prices, and where each offer is bought or booked.
  2. Check what it found.A short chat asks only what your pages didn't say. Then it writes the questions and the results, each ending on one of your offers. You can edit all of it.
  3. Share it. Use the link, or put it on your site inline, as a popup or as a floating button.

How you know it works

Snacked counts every click to each of your offers, on every plan, as a share of everyone who opened the funnel. Where your site lets you add a script to the thank-you page, two lines of code report actual purchases or bookings too.

What it won't do

Free to start, with one published funnel. Pro is $29 a month with unlimited funnels, and Snacked takes no cut of your sales. See pricing.

Questions

Why only eight offers?

Because a short funnel can only tell so many shoppers apart. In a big store, eight well-chosen categories or collections, with filters doing the rest, works better than one funnel that tries to pick from thousands.

Can I run one funnel per department?

Yes. On Pro you can publish as many funnels as you want, for example one in front of each department.

Does it work with filtered category links?

Yes. A result's button can go to any URL, including a category with filters already applied.
