What we use

Strictly necessary: session cookies for sign-in (Clerk), CSRF protection, anonymous quiz session id stored in localStorage so respondents can resume after refresh, and — if you start or join a challenge — a tfb_… cookie holding the id of your own answer, so the shared board can recognise your row when you come back to it. It carries no identity and no tracking. These do not require consent.

Analytics (with consent)

Vercel Web Analytics + Speed Insights when you accept. No third-party advertising trackers on the Snacked chrome.

On creator-published quiz pages

When a creator configures their own Meta Pixel or Google Analytics ID, those tags load on their public quiz pages. Their privacy policy (linked at the email gate) governs that data.
